The Scissors and Spice Vintage Etsy Shop Grand Opening!

It is with great joy that I finally announce the birth, I mean, opening of the Scissors and Spice Etsy shop!

My love of vintage shopping started in my high school too-cool-for-school punk days where back-to-school shopping involved dragging my awesome dad to the local Salvation Army for granny cardigans and ripped jeans. Now that I own a house, it has been quite fun filling it with mid-century furniture and home decor, but it has become quite that, very full. That doesn't mean I don't still enjoy the thrill of a good flea market; so what's a girl who loves thrifting and has tons of display and retail experience to do? Open a vintage Etsy shop, of course! I do the digging through dusty old boxes of treasure so you don't have to!

Please take a gander through the shop and have fun. I will be listing tons more in the near future (my stock room is FULL!). I have tons of vintage craft and children's books, fabric, notions, clothing, tablecloths, tea towels and other treasures that I will be stocking my shelves with so come back and visit often and enjoy!

Tell your friends to stop by too! Send them the shop link to let them know you care about their shopping experiences!  If you are an Etsy-er, please add me to your circle, favorite my items, and favorite the shop and if you are a pinner on Pinterest, please pin away! And as always, follow me on Twitter and like me on Facebook, and/or subscribe to the blog to be the first to know about new items, give aways and shop promotions. So many ways to stay in the loop! Hoo-ray!

Thank you everyone for your support, I really appreciate it. Big, big, big thank yous to my wonderful husband for tolerating my shop obsession and for his expert design work and to my children who have been watching lots of Netflix. I love you!
