Spice in the Kitchen: Vegan Asian-Style Coleslaw





Vegan Asian-Style Coleslaw Recipe (vegan)
serves 4-6; prep time 10 minutes

Ingredients

  • 7 cups +/- shredded cabbage, purple cabbage and carrots (or 1 bag of coleslaw mix)
  • 1 TB peanut oil
  • 1 TB sesame oil
  • 1 TB hoisin sauce
  • 1.5 TB soy sauce
  • 1/8 cup Veganaise
  • 2 TB rice wine vinegar
  • 1/2 TB sugar
  • 2 TB finely minced cilantro leaves
  • 1/2 tsp Sriracha

Directions

  1. Whisk together all ingredients except shredded cabbage.
  2. Toss cabbage mix and dressing together.
  3. To serve, top with peanuts or sesame seeds.
