Day Dreaming: Natural Kitchen Cooking School

The other day, my husband and I were talking about what makes us enter that Zen-like state of happiness. His was obvious, sketching letters. Mine, was a bit more of an exploration into the varied states of creativity and organizational endeavors that I embark on. I have a condition you may have heard of, "jack of all trades, master of none;" not one of my outlets stuck out as THEE one.  Then it dawned on me--COOKING! I love it. Love, love, love it! I love experimenting and coming up with new combinations of things. If time and my life allowed, I would spend all day in the kitchen just experimenting. I love making people happy with food. I love the meditation that comes from the concentration of cooking. I love the fact that I eschew things that your normal, everyday person eats because it makes cooking a challenge. I love the spiritual aspects of nourishing and healing with food. I love the smells, the feel.... ahhh... see, Zen! When my little kiddos are older, I am so taking courses at Natural Kitchen Cooking School. Until then, I will daydream and pour over their new cookbook.
