Scissors Craft: Inexpensive IKEA Greens Centerpiece

I am very over winter. It's gray now. Even the snow is gray. I wanted to bring some life into my dining room and decided to make this very inexpensive centerpiece for the dining room table. When I was a window dresser/visual display manager at The Pottery Barn, I learned a thing or two about impact. Grouping in threes (or fives) is always a way to make displays look purposeful and well thought out. I wanted some new plants, so when I was at IKEA on Saturday, I bought three of the same plant ($1.99) and three of the same pot ($2.99). Easy centerpiece, right? It's not fussy or difficult to maintain and is something  anyone can do. Yes, even you!
